Your Questions, Answered

  • Question Type Distribution

    • Direct recall: 35%

    • Scenario-based: 40%

    • Image-based: 20%

    • “Which is TRUE/FALSE?” logic traps: 5%

  • No. The Colorado DMV does not publish the exact test questions.

However, our question bank is built directly from the official Colorado Driver Handbook and structured to mirror:

    • The same topics

    • The same level of difficulty

    • The same question style

    • The same 25-question format

    • The same 80% passing requirement

Our goal isn’t memorization —> it’s preparation. If you consistently score 85%+ on our practice tests, you should feel confident walking into the exam.

  • We recommend:

    • At least 3 full practice exams

    • Consistent scores of 85% or higher

    • Mastery of Traffic Signs and Right-of-Way sections

    • Review of all missed questions

Most successful students complete 150–300 practice questions before testing.

Quality of repetition matters more than total volume.

  • This program is designed to reinforce the handbook — not replace it.

    We strongly recommend:

    • Reading the Colorado Driver Handbook at least once

    • Using our quizzes to test comprehension

    • Reviewing explanations for every missed question

Think of the handbook as the “source material”
Think of this platform as your “training system.”

  • First — don’t panic.

    If you fail:

    • You can retake the test (subject to DMV guidelines)

    • You’ll need to wait the required period

    • Additional fees may apply

    The good news:
Failure usually means knowledge gaps — not ability issues.

Use our “Missed Questions” review feature and focus on your weakest topic areas before retesting.

Most students pass on the second attempt when they prepare strategically.
